1) There’s a lady here who runs a café making good cakes and sandwiches who reminds me a lot of a lady who lived on the Gili Islands who made good cakes and sandwiches. Both of them have their heart in the right place but boy can they complain about stuff!! It’s a small world. Must be something about living in a tiny place on the beach ; )

2) I’m losing so much weight and getting really fit. Already back to my prime diving time at Indonisa and expect to lose more. Supermodel here I come! Bad things is that my clothes don’t fit me anymore…. Nah! That’s not a bad thing!

3) Had to get into the nearest town this morning to get some cash out. Hitched a ride there with a nice older SA couple. Came back in the local mini-buses. They can really pack em in here! At one point I counted 30 people. They were even hanging out the side of the van. Anyway, we’re racing down the road when a cop tells us to pullover. The brakes are terrible so it was a while before we could stop. He then reverses back up the side of the road – only stopping when he hit another car! (a parked car). Thankfully not the policemans otherwise I’d probably still be there waiting for a lift! Ahh- Mozambique!

4) All the dives here are surf launches – I’m hanging onto the bow of the boat trying to pull it out to sea as waves swamp over. Quite good fun really!
