Return to England
Hello all,
Coming back to England was a very strange experience. I had been looking forward for so long to coming back and seeing all my friends, that it was only whilst I was in Sweden that I realised I was really stressed out about it.
To be perfectly honest, I still don't know why I was so stressed out about it, but I was. So instead of telling everyone I was coming home, I only told 3 people and instead of going straight to London and partying I went home to seclusion at my Mum's house.
Mum came to meet me at the airport, but it was an extra treat to see one of my best mates, Tom, waiting there for me too : ) Nevertheless, still a very low key return after 2.5 years.
I've been back 3 weeks now and have finally relaxed and settled in, sort of. It is rather strange. As much as anything else because it's not my world anymore, but it's a world I know very well.
Anyway, I shall give up trying to explain because I'm doing such a bad job of it!
So current situation is splitting my time between my Mum's house and my friends in London. There are still several people who I have not got in touch with yet who I hope to see before I go away again.
Under extreme duress from one of my friends who is determined to host a big party at the end of september which I HAVE to go to, I will probably be here until the beginning of October. Then it'll be off to Africa. At the moment, South Africa seems likely, but you know me, it's not like I've actually bought a plane ticket yet!
Take it easy
