Off to South Africa

Hello all,

In case you were wondering why the last email of this title was mostly blank with a couple of random names, it was CLEARLY a MISTAKE. Obviously!!

Although I had more responses off that than I do with my usual emails, so I think I shall just send out blank emails from now on : )

Ok, this is going to be pretty short as: -

a) it's late, I've been busy all day and want to go and watch a romantic comedy whilst eating christmas pudding with brandy butter
b) I've haven't really done that much to write about.

Being back in England has been good but odd. Never really felt that comfortable here and have faced up to the fact I probably never will. I just don't fit in.

However, it's been wicked to see my friends. I've managed to catch up with most people - even if it was only once. The most special part of these meetings is that you realise just how much history your friendship has, even if you don't get to see each other very often.

There have even been a couple of surprises, including a very good old work mate who I'd lost touch with and came to a 30th birthday party of one of my friends!!

Blah blah blah - all very interesting to me but probably very boring for you.

So to the point. Tomorrow morning I fly to South Africa, thankfully arriving on the morning of 12th October, leaving me enough time to find a hostel before watching the England Poland football game!!

The vague plan is to check out Cape Town, then go round the coast to the East coast of Africa and GO DIVING!! Yippee!! Then find job and all the rest of it. Might work in S. Africa or go to Mozambique which is also supposed to be kicking off, but basically I will be winging it as always.
